On our second attempt for some suitable weather while staying at Millys@Moorgerah for some night photography the clouds rolled in for the three days.On the last night the skies cleared and crawling out of bed at 4.am I was able to capture this frame even though there was a full moon .

Sun Kissed Story Bridge
I was rewarded with the warm glow over Brisbane City & the Story Bridge just before the sun dropped below the horizon .
Mt Cootha Gardens

One with a large Lens to capture the full moon .
One of the scene featuring the cactus both blended together.
I had been to the gardens the night before the full moon and saw that the moon was rising right behind the cactus just as the gates were due to close.
Enquiring about the possibilities for this image I discovered that you can stay in the gardens after gates closed ,with one small exit gate available,you just cannot get into the gardens.Back the next night hoping the conditions would hold.
I must say it was little spooky in there after dark but at least I got the image I was after.

Sorghum Paddock
Thinking I had missed the light & colour of the Sorghum being kissed as the sun goes down, I was delighted to discover this amazing paddock with the Callide Power Station in the distance. Returned just as the sun was skipping across the paddock giving the Sorghum a wonderful glow.
